You know that I am always been a big fan of vintage and old-school style. And this time, I've been craving for a 'Peranakan' breakfast somewhere in Jakarta. I suddenly remember that I used to go to this little coffee shop few years back.

You might already heard about this coffee shop, Kopitiam Oey. After few years, the place hasn't changed a bit and still embracing the old Melayu-infused vibe that is for me, really lovable.

We had toast & coffee for breakfast, along with old music playing in the background. It was a good time to cherish, because I always love having breakfast with my favorite person, in such a cozy place.

And wait till you hear it, the place also has nice spot to take your OOTD! This time I wear my current favorite pants & pair it with the comfy top. And it's the perfect moment to wear my vintage sunglasses, don't you think? Call me granny, but I love it, so what? xD

Well hello!

I've been wanting to write about this but this post needs a longer time to think, what to write & what not to write. So inhale, exhale.

There are times when you feel like negativity is all around, no one supports you, or no one listens to you. Well I did feel that sometimes. Getting older, I am realizing that not everyone is good enough to help you grow and be a better person. There are some kind of people who are not good enough to be with.

These are the people who are always jealous, who are self-centered, and always spread negativity all around. These type of toxic people will make you listen to them, do as they said, always makes you feel guilty and wrong. Recognize that these kind of people are always around drama, conflicts, or stress. (I mean, we all do. But these kind of people are beyond.)

And how do I deal with those kind of people? I walk away. It means I can still be friends with them, but I keep some distances because I know listening to them will do me no good. Trust me, you don't do something bad by avoiding those kind of people. You are doing yourself a favor. You are saving yourself instead. Life is hard enough already, so why bother making it harder?

Feel free to share your thoughts if you disagree with my point of view. Because in the end sharing is caring! See you in my next post, loves!

Long weekend ahead, do you have your plans ready?

I feel like I've been super tired and busy these past few weeks (but I am grateful, really). So I'm longing for a high-quality weekend. And this weekend I'll go on a road trip with my whole family, it's been a while since our last time doing a road trip, it's gonna be fun!

What's the best outfit for a long road trip? Everything loose-y & oversize will do! So I picked my latest loose tank & long pants both in black, both from @shopatvelvet. These clothes are the comfiest, the kind of clothes that I would definitely wear over and over again.

To spice up a bit, I added red sunnies & white sneakers. The comfier the better, no?

What's your favorite comfy clothes at this time? Share with me in the comment box below! See you in my next post, loves!

Being a 23 years old working girl is fun, but also hard and tough. I mean, trying to be an independent girl and figuring life is tough.

These past few weeks have been fun & tough at the same times. There are a lot of great news I reaaaaally wanted to share with you (but not just yet, please be patient with me, I'm excited for this!), but there are also a lot of difficult times; some of my friends are leaving. I couldn't maintain my health & body weights. My job has been challenging. It's almost end of year and I couldn't get my resolutions done rightly. See why I say it's been a tough times?

A lot of stuffs are getting in the way, and it gets tougher and tougher. But the way I see it, there will always be good reasons behind everything, if we can just see it closer. All the things that you are going through right now, happens for a reason. God has created this perfect plans for you and only you. And you must not doubt it, even for a second.

After all these difficulties, I realized that I second-guess myself lately, but now I know that I don't need to listen and believe what people say. I just need to listen to myself, and believe in myself. Because after all, these hard times are not permanent. The reason that we had hard times, is because we need it. We need hard times to make us think, to make us learn, and so we can cherish it in the good times.

Believe me, life is hard, but so are you.

Again, I never bored with this city: Yogyakarta. This time, Jogja did me special. The last trip that I've had, left so many warm memories for me.

I believe there are 2 types of people; the one that go on holiday for fun, and the one that go on holiday for peace. I'm obviously the second type. Jogja is the city where I will always go back to. Because this city has a lot to offer. Not only the good tourist destinations, but also the warmest people & the safest feeling. People who once fell in love with Jogja, they will always come back. And it's true. There's something about this city that is special. The atmosphere that somehow is different, and the energy that is peacefully beautiful. Only people who fell in love with Jogja will understand about this.

So there you go, some pictures that I captured during my last Jogja trip. Hope you enjoy them, and I hope you will got a chance to feel the warmest & kindest love from Jogja, to you. Jogja, you will always be my second home. The place where I feel safe, the place with so many memories, the place where my heart is.

I was in a long search until I finally found the perfect jacket that I wanted. It's pink, and it's corduroy! Looking back to the Fall-Runways, corduroy is everywhere. That's another reason why you have to add it to one of your must-have this season!

I got my corduroy jacket in dusty pink color from Stradivarius. For a sunny day out, I pair it with basic tees & jeans. Not to forget, my signature scarf on my neck, and I'm ready to go!

Corduroy is a material that is part velvet-y, part suede. The soft stripes textures will instantly give you a vintage touch and also, some kind of luxury. Either bright or dark colors, make sure you pair the corduroy pieces with basic & classic items, to make your corduroy be the center of attention. And trust me, this corduroy trend might not last long, but these items are gonna be handy, forever!

Who else here went to Synchronize Festival few weeks ago? Did you have a lot of fun? I do! Local music festival with lots of my favorite musician and perfect weather, what's not to love? So this time, I'm sharing you a few tips on what to wear to a music festival, here goes!

#1 Comfy clothes is a must!
When you're going to a music festival, it's obvious that you're going to dance a lot, sing a lot, run from one stage to another to catch the next show, and not to mention, there will be hundreds of people there. So, comfy clothes is a must! Wear t-shirt and shorts, oversized shirts, or midi flowy dress like I did! (Plus it's super cute when you're dancing in it, right?)

#2 Pick bright/soft colors
Because why not? I don't really like wearing dark-colored clothes on a very sunny day, beside its gonna be super hot, what's the fun in that? Choose bright & soft colors like pink, yellow, baby blue, or nude tone for your music festival outfit.

#3 Sunglasses
Because music festival usually takes an outdoor place and it usually is a full-day noon-to-night event, so you might just need to add sunglasses to your outfit! It is useful, and it also adds the coolness of your overall look!

#4 Not-so-mini mini bag
Here comes to one of the hardest part for me who likes to prepare everything & make sure I didn't forget to bring anything: picking the perfect bag! For a music festival outfit, I think mini bags are perfect! But then, you need to bring this & that, so I upsized my bags choices a little bit! Don't forget to make sure that you got everything covered, and you can still dance along with the mini bags on.

Hi! Last weekend I got a chance to witness debut collection from @atthestudio.id in Jakarta Fashion Week. At The Studio is a project by @atsthelabel for Indonesia Fashion Forward at JFW this year.

The collections itself is so pretty, with warm colors and subtle floral emroidery. Most of the pieces are flowy and filled with ruffle, puffs, and many other details that add sweet soft touch to the collections. I am absolutely loving all the pieces in this  collections!

Along with the preview of At The Studio's Overture collections, we also watched Ellyhan Jewelry's show! As a not-jewelry-person, I could say that the collections are classic & pretty with a touch of vintage style, consist with a lot of pearls and bronze.

Last but absolutely not least, we also watched I.K.Y.K S/S 2018 collections. This is the collections I will definitely wear daily for chic office look! With a lot of subtle in-between colors like maroon, brick, and broken white. My favorite goes to the brown-ish suits!

Did you also happen to be in JFW? Share what's your favorite show with me!

Last week I got a chance to try the not-yet-launched menu from @warunghaloniko in their outlet! I met the owner, Niko & Mbak Kika in person, they are very nice and warm. They don't make us feel like we are talking to the owners, but it feels like we are talking to old friends or families! Because they just got back from a 1-month holiday in Greece, they gathered us together to try out the fresh recipe from Niko's hometown.

We started our lunch with Greek salad as appetizer. Unlike the salad that they already have, this one have many various salad in one plate, and they serve it with gyros. My favorite was the eggplant salad that taste oh-so-delicious!

Greek Salad
Going forward to the main courses, we tried 2 main courses. The first one is some kind of lunch-wrap, consist of bread, salad, and chicken inside it. The second one is called 'Love Boat'. It's some kind of cheesy-pizza but it shaped like a boat. Both are my favorite!

Lunch Wrap with Chicken and Sausage!

What's a lunch without dessert? Finally, we had this special Greek dessert with Kataifi inside it. (In Indonesia we call it bihun, but in Greece it can be served as sweet dessert or either savory dish.) The texture is so unique, but I really love the creamy topping on top of it!

To celebrate our event on that day, we close the lunch session with some kind of great Greece shot, Yamas!

Hello! How was life? For my close friends, you might already know that I've been working, working and working these past few months. I got my crazy full-time job, also another freelance social media job, still managing to blog and to do photo shoot in my spare time, and also preparing a special project (that include handmade thing, if I can tell you.). Crazy, huh?

I am not a #girlboss yet, but I'm trying to live with that such of crazy level of business. I teach myself to always be happy when I'm busy. To enjoy things, not to stress things out. To give myself a pure happiness for doing what I love to do. And to always be grateful for having a lot of work to do, while some other people don't.

Vintage LBD, Coat by atsthelabel, Shoes by adidas, Bag by Kalani, Sunnies by Forever21

So, what's the best thing a #girlboss can wear for those crazy busy days? My pick goes to the comfiest LBD ever, and layer it with long outer like this earth-tone coat. Because we ladies have to be on the run, I pick sneakers over heels. Not to mention, I'm carrying it all with big tote bag and complete the look with sunnies. (Oh, and messy bun all the way!)

Talking about being busy, this past few weeks have been the craziest busy week ever. And I don't have enough time to spend a day shopping. But no worries, now we can shop easily online, right? We all know that towards the end of year, there are a lot of interesting promotions here and there. One that I can not hardly wait is HARBOLNAS 2017 in Zalora Indonesia on December! It's the perfect time to sit down, scroll down, and shop away! By the way, you can check the awaited 12/12 promotion from Zalora here.

So girls, get your shopping list & your #girlboss attitude ready!
Hey hey! In my previous post, I told you my current favorite colors. And now I'm going to tell you my current favorite pieces! For some of you who follow my blog since day 0, can you guess my favorite style/piece?

I'm all about simplicity, classic, timeless pieces. I love turtlenecks, culottes, deep V-cut shirts, stripes, and of course, scarf and white sneakers. But sometimes, simple pieces could be boring and just too plain. No worries! You can adjust and play a bit so you will still look fab and effortlessly cool.

This time, instead of a plain white sleeveless shirt, I'm choosing a white blouse with ribbon and loose oversized-cuts. You might guess that I'm pairing it with my favorite culotte but no! Not this time. As you know from my last post, my current favorite colors are green, olive, and nude tone. So I'm choosing the green tailored pants with slit details on both sides.

My point is, if you like dressing down and don't like over-dress just like me, you might as well want to get those perfect simple pieces, but with a little details and a little twist. No more boring outfits when you can be effortless but unique at the same time!

See you in my next post, loves!
